Dinner prep

Just wanted to post something rather mundane. This was taken over 3 years ago when my wife and I went to dinner at our son's home. Our son, who is a manager of a Waffle House diner, quite often involves his children in the preparation of meals. Here his oldest daughter cuts up russet potatoes while he, his wife and youngest daughter prep the chicken for the evening meal.
What I like about the image is the composition and story-telling ability. But it is just a simple image - a family preparing their evening meal. But the arrangement of the subjects is what works for me. It reminds me of some Cartier-Bresson images especially the one of the family along the banks of a river. My eye has a tendency to roam around the image trying to see what everyone is doing.

As always, make a comment!! Let me know what you think! Until next time, keep on shooting...
