Young love

Spotted this couple dancing to a string trio one night while waiting to be seated for dinner. They reminded me of my wife and I on our first cruise back in 1980 on Carnival's TSS Festivale and the lasting addiction cruising has become for us.
(Grandparents had agreed to watch our three kids for the week and our cruise started with a flight from New Orleans to Miami. When we got to the airport, they rushed us from our assigned gate to another to fill up a plane but when we got to the gate the other folks had arrived. We were taken back to our original gate where they told us to wait when everyone else started boarding. The final result? They bumped us up to first class for the flight! THAT is how our first cruise started!)
I did pass my contact info (business card) to this young man after showing him one of the images offering to send him the file. Still waiting to hear from them....

As far as the image is concerned, it is cropped slightly and, being a fan of the rule of thirds, I placed the couple slightly off center. Just a personal preference.
I am still shooting with just my Fuji X100S fixed lens camera with the TCL-X100 attached giving me a 50mm field of view. After years of shooting with various zoom and primes for newspaper work, in retirement I am going very light and trying to "see" like the documentary photographers that inspired me in the first place.
As always, make a comment!! Let me know what you think! Until next time, keep on shooting...
